Hellblazer #269
Part three of "Sectioned" arrives in this September 2010 issue of Vertigo's long-running Hellblazer series, written by Peter Milligan with art by Giuseppe Camuncoli and Stefano Landini. Simon Bisley's cover painting commands immediate attention — a weathered, white-haired Constantine wrapped in a sweeping purple robe stands cigarette in mouth, flanked by a dark feathered angel wing on one side and a green demonic wing on the other, with flames rising at his feet and what appears to be a small tagged object clutched in his hand. It's a striking image that positions John squarely between the infernal and the divine, capturing the uneasy moral territory Hellblazer has always made its home.
