Adam Kubert is an American comics artist born in 1959 in Dover, New Jersey, who has built one of the more durable careers in mainstream superhero comics. He comes from genuine industry royalty — his father is the celebrated Joe Kubert, his brother is fellow artist Andy Kubert, and his niece Katie Kubert works as a comics editor. Both Adam and Andy trained at the Joe Kubert School in Dover, the institution their father founded, and Adam has since returned there as an instructor, helping shape successive generations of comics talent.

His professional output stretches from 1978 through the present day, spanning nearly five decades and nearly 500 credited issues across Marvel and DC. He is perhaps most closely associated with Wolverine, a character whose physicality and raw energy suit his muscular, kinetic draftsmanship particularly well. Other significant titles include Ultimate X-Men, X-Men, Ultimate Fantastic Four, Action Comics, Astonishing Spider-Man & Wolverine, The Incredible Hulk, and Ghost Rider / Blaze: Spirits of Vengeance. His work demonstrates a strong command of figure work and sequential storytelling, qualities that have made him a go-to artist for high-profile assignments at both major publishers.
