Blink #4
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe four-issue miniseries reaches its conclusion with this 2001 Marvel finale, "Full Recall," and Adam Kubert's cover sets the stakes in vivid motion — Blink launches a fierce flying kick at a blue-armored opponent while a clawed, dark-haired figure is dragged down by armored hands reaching up from below, all set against a checkerboard backdrop crowded with watching faces. It's a dynamic composition that captures the teleporting mutant at her most combative, surrounded by the sense that enemies are closing in from every direction. Written by Scott Lobdell and Judd Winick with art by Trevor McCarthy, this closing chapter looks like a satisfying payoff for fans who followed Blink's journey from issue one.

In the Negative Zone, Blink and Ahmyor are prisoners of Blastaar. Ahmyor has been revealed to be the amnesic Annihilus and apologizes to Blink for his unwitting deception. When Blastaar attempts to use Annihilus to power a cannon that will blast a hole to Earth, Blink uses her powers to save them both. Her teleport takes her back home to the X-Men in the Age of Apocalypse. Later, as her world is coming to an end, she finds herself pulled into a desert where she is confronted by a blue girl in pajamas.
