Part of the "Necrosha X" crossover event, this issue pulls readers in with a cover by Adam Kubert that's all smoldering intensity — a fierce, glowing-eyed figure submerged in a vast sea of rippling fire and molten light, only the top half of her face visible above the burning surface. The image is deceptively simple and all the more unsettling for it, conveying a sense of something dangerous rising from the depths. Zeb Wells writes, with interior art from Diógenes Neves and Kevin Sharpe bringing Chapter Three of the New Mutants' harrowing Necrosha chapter to life.
