Steel Vengeance is killed by Styge for disobedience and Steel Wind is sent to capture Blaze. John and Ghost Rider arrive back at the Carnival to find that it has been attacked by the demons while they were gone. When the demons left many of the people went out hunting them. Timmy sneaks out to look for his father. Mephisto meets with a human who wants vengeance on the Ghost Rider and when he sells his soul Mephisto transforms him into Vengeance. John and the Ghost Rider go after Timmy and save him. When they arrive back at the carnival they find it under siege by Steel Wind and the demons.
