Professor X finishes gathering his X-Men and the team battles the Sentinels sent by anti-mutant humans as well as Magneto and his anti-human brotherhood. Things get worse when Magneto gains control of the Sentinels and sends them against the humans with the X-Men stuck in the middle. Wolverine, who has been sent by Maggie to infiltrate the X-Men and murder Xavier, switches sides and helps his new team take out the master of magnetism.
