Ultimate Fantastic Four #3
This volume collects the third story arc of the original Ultimate Fantastic Four series, where Reed Richards' experiments with interdimensional travel lead the team into the mysterious N-Zone. There they encounter the insectoid tyrant Annihilus, while General Thaddeus Ross makes an unexpected appearance in this reimagined take on Marvel's first family. The collection includes issues #13-18 of the 2004 series, written by Warren Ellis with art by Adam Kubert and John Dell.
In "N-Zone One of Six," the Fantastic Four journey to a cluster of orbiting spaceships near a massive sun, where they encounter the enigmatic Nihil, who claims his universe is succumbing to heat death. As Johnny's condition worsens and he and Sue return to the Awesome, tensions rise when Nihil's true intentions begin to surface. Written by Warren Ellis and illustrated by Adam Kubert, with inks by John Dell, Nelson, and Lary Stucker, colors by Dave Stewart, and letters by Chris Eliopoulos, this issue features a cover by Adam Kubert and John Dell.
