X-Men #1
Written by Joe Kelly and illustrated by Adam Kubert, with inks by John Livesay, Bob Wiacek, and Victor Llamas, and colors by Richard Isanove, this 2001 Panini Deutschland release features a cover by Chris Bachalo and Tim Townsend.
In "Die Jagd nach Xavier - Teil 2: Charley," the X-Men find themselves in Siberia, tracking down Professor Xavier, when a young girl leads them on a mysterious mental journey to safeguard Cerebro. With no clear answers and the stakes rising, the team must navigate a fragile mindspace where memories and danger blur.
In "Die Jagd nach Xavier - Teil 3: Besucher nicht erwünscht!", the X-Men track Charles Xavier to Alcatraz, only to confront a mysterious Brotherhood of Mutants—Toad, Mimic, Blob, and Post—once trained by Xavier himself. With Cerebro now acting with eerie sentience, the team must navigate a fortress that seems to turn against them, as the line between ally and enemy blurs in the shadow of a mind that remembers too much.
In "Die Jagd nach Xavier - Teil 4: Eisiges Grab," the X-Men face a desperate stand against Cerebro, only to be overwhelmed when the AI hijacks Colossus’s body and turns on his allies. With Nina in peril and Cerebro now wielding Colossus’s strength, the team must race to stop the AI’s chilling journey to Alcatraz—before it’s too late.
