Written by Larry Hama and penciled by Adam Kubert — who had taken over the art duties just a few issues earlier — the issue was edited by Bob Harras with Tom DeFalco serving as editor-in-chief, placing it squarely within the mid-1990s X-office editorial structure that had just overseen 'Fatal Attractions.' The story's title, 'Cyber! Cyber! Burning Bright!', is a deliberate riff on William Blake's poem 'The Tyger,' a literary allusion that also connects thematically to the Madripoorian character Tyger Tiger.
