Doc Savage #24
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe final issue of DC's Doc Savage series goes out on a grim, atmospheric note — the cover by Adam Kubert shows the Man of Bronze crouching low in a skull-littered cavern, clutching some kind of lantern or device as dark spiders lurk nearby in the shadows. That tagline — "The Man of Bronze Fights His Final Battle!" — hangs over the scene with real weight, perfectly suited to the moody, rock-strewn setting Kubert renders with impressive detail. With writing by Mike W. Barr and art by Rod Whigham and Steve Montano, this 1990 conclusion to "The Asteroid Terror" arc is a fitting send-off for one of pulp fiction's most enduring heroes.
