John Blaze and the Ghost Rider go back to Quentin's Carnival to check on John's friends and find everybody in a state of panic because of Clara's visions of death. Steel Wind and Steel Vengeance then attack them. In the middle of the fight Mephisto shows up and transports John and the Ghost Rider away.
