About this Collection

This 2003 collection brings together the complete Adam Strange: The Man of Two Worlds miniseries, written by Andy Diggle with art by Pascal Ferry. The story follows archaeologist Adam Strange as he is transported to the alien world of Rann, where he becomes a hero wielding Zeta-Beam technology, and explores his dual existence between Earth and Rann. The volume collects the four-issue series, offering a self-contained sci-fi adventure within DC's cosmic landscape.

In "Chapter 1" of Adam Strange: The Man of Two Worlds, Adam is stranded and on the run through the wilds of Rann as political chaos erupts in Ranagar. With the council reeling from Sardath’s injury and Marleah plotting revolution, Adam is taken in by Bantteir—Alanna’s mother—just as Alanna goes into labor and Dr. Eve Fox is mysteriously pulled through to Rann. The threat of war looms as Zared launches an attack on Ranagar. Written by Richard Bruning and illustrated with striking precision by Andy Kubert, with colors by Adam Kubert and lettering by Todd Klein, this first chapter sets a tense, high-stakes tone. The cover, also by Andy Kubert, captures the isolation and urgency of Adam’s plight.
