Ghost Rider #3

Part of Marvel's 2011 "Fear Itself" crossover, this issue puts Ghost Rider front and center in a striking Adam Kubert cover — the Spirit of Vengeance crouches with skull ablaze in hellfire, tribal markings etched across his jacket, while ghostly silhouettes of looming figures flank him on either side. The composition has a real weight to it, suggesting forces far larger than any one champion closing in from the shadows. Rob Williams and Brian Ching carry the interior work, making this a solid addition to one of Ghost Rider's more ambitious outings of the era.
