The Dark Web crossover reaches its conclusion in this 2023 Marvel one-shot, written by Zeb Wells with interior art by Adam Kubert and Francesco Mortarino. Adam Kubert's cover says it all — Spider-Man crouches at the center of a chaotic swirl of demons and monstrous creatures, while a dark symbiote-suited figure hangs inverted above him, the two connected by a fraying thread amid an X-Men character wielding a weapon and a red-haired hero visible in the surrounding melee. It's a densely packed image that captures the sense of an all-hands-on-deck showdown, colorist Frank Martin bringing a vivid, almost otherworldly palette to the carnage.
