Richard Isanove is a French-American artist and painter who has built a substantial career in the comic book industry spanning more than three decades. Born in 1968, he has worked across a remarkable range of roles — as artist, colorist, inker, and writer — accumulating credits on over 540 issues between 1995 and 2026.

Isanove made his mark working on some of Marvel and Top Cow's most prominent titles. His contributions to *Ultimate Spider-Man* and *Ultimate X-Men* placed him at the heart of Marvel's ambitious early-2000s line aimed at modernizing its flagship characters for new readers. He also brought his distinctive visual sensibility to *Daredevil*, one of Marvel's more artistically adventurous books.
