Red Sonja #6
In "Falling Star," Red Sonja confronts the aftermath of a city’s descent into chaos as Fa’s control over the Zedda collapses, unleashing violence on innocent lives. With Osin, she battles The Celestial One atop Gathia’s tower, only to learn his shocking past as a former Zedda—leaving Sonja to question whether her victory has truly brought justice. Written by Michael Avon Oeming and Mike Carey, with dynamic art by Mel Rubi and bold colors by Blond, Caesar Rodriguez, and Richard Isanove, this issue captures the weight of heroism in a world where victory feels hollow. The cover by Billy Tan vividly captures the moment’s intensity.

Fa finds that once they have begun to take over the city of Gathia, he cannot control the primitive Zedda and they begin killing innocent women and children. Up in the tower, Sonja and Osin battle The Celestial One and are shocked to learn that he used to be one of the Zedda himself. After The Celestial One is dispatched, Sonja wonders if she has really done any good in this situation as Gathia is now bathed in carnage and blood and anarchy now reigns.
