Inhuman Annual #1

The whole sprawling cast of Marvel's Inhuman series assembles for this 2015 annual, and Ryan Stegman's cover makes the most of it — Black Bolt soars overhead with wings spread wide, Medusa stands regally at center in her flowing red cape and purple costume, and a dense front line includes Ms. Marvel, a massive rock-formed brute, a canine companion, and a range of powered figures both familiar and newly transformed. It's a genuine showcase of Inhuman variety, from aerial powerhouses to street-level newcomers, all framed by a bold circular design that gives the gathering real weight. Writer Charles Soule's "Legacy" story promises exactly the kind of expansive storytelling that an annual format deserves.
