The finale of Marvel's Dark Tower: Treachery arrives with a cover by Jae Lee that is equal parts haunting and heartbreaking — a pale, red-eyed figure cradles a limp, bloodied woman in white robes against a shrouded, mist-grey void, his gaze turned upward with an expression caught somewhere between anguish and cold resolve. Jae Lee's stark, painterly composition (colored by Richard Isanove) drains the scene of warmth, letting grief and menace share the same breath. As the sixth and concluding chapter of this limited series, it's a fittingly somber cap to Peter David, Robin Furth, and Stephen King's adaptation of the gunslinger's world.
