Sonja, who thought she was dead, is surprised to awaken and finds that Fa has brought her to a secret camp of those who oppose the Celestial One. Fa tells her he stabbed her with a magic dagger that must be placed back on a special idol in the city of Gathia or her wound will become permanent. She and four warriors sneak back into Gathia to do the deed. Even in the face of betrayal by one of their own, Sonja is successful but she and Osin are the only ones left alive. On their way back to Fa, they are confronted by savages from Zedda.
