This second volume of the 2017 Guardians of the Galaxy: New Guard series finds the team's roster shaken up after the events of the first arc. With Star-Lord missing, Kitty Pryde steps into a leadership role alongside a lineup that includes Gamora, Drax, Rocket Raccoon, Groot, and the newly joined Venom symbiote host Flash Thompson.
