DC's New 52 anthology series turns its spotlight on some of the DC Universe's most intriguing supernatural and mystical characters in this May 2015 issue, headlined by John Constantine — cigarette in hand, trenchcoat open, striding forward with the casual confidence of a man who's seen too much. Surrounding him on Bryan Hitch's cover are a striking cast of figures: Zatanna conjuring green energy to his left, a white-faced tattooed figure crouching below, a card-holding woman in pink to the right, and looming in the background both a masked figure with arms spread wide and the unmistakable mossy visage of Swamp Thing. Ray Fawkes and Richard Isanove bring Constantine's New 52 origin to life inside, making this a satisfying package for anyone drawn to DC's darker, more magical corners.
