The Man with No Name #9

Dynamite's Western series reaches its ninth issue with a cover by Richard Isanove that perfectly captures the brooding intensity of the Man with No Name — hat pulled low, red poncho sweeping behind him, both revolvers leveled straight at the viewer against a hazy purple sky. The story, "The Good, the Bad, and the Uglier," promises exactly the kind of morally tangled frontier showdown the title suggests. Writer duo Luke Lieberman and Matt Wolpert, with interior art by Diego Bernard, keep this 2009 series riding hard.
