Inhuman #14
The chess-board cover by Ryan Stegman says it all: Inhuman figures rendered as game pieces — a masked woman, a winged hero, and a powerfully built man — stand on alternating black-and-white squares while an enormous, looming face fills the background, fingers poised as if ready to move them at will. It's a striking visual argument that someone far more powerful is pulling the strings. Charles Soule, André Araújo, and Richard Isanove bring that tension into issue #14, "Linkages," promising a story where the Inhumans may have less control over their fate than they'd like to believe.
