Dexter Vines

Dexter Vines is an American comic book inker whose career stretches from the mid-1990s into the 2020s, accumulating credits on more than 400 issues across that span. He is perhaps best recognized for his long-running partnerships with pencilers Steve McNiven and Ed McGuinness — the latter collaboration earning the affectionate joint billing "eDex." Those partnerships helped define the look of some of Marvel and DC's most prominent characters during his most active years, with significant runs on titles including Wolverine, Nova, Hulk, and Superman/Batman. His work on Weapon X and The Wild Storm: Michael Cray further demonstrated a range that moves comfortably between superhero action and grittier, more grounded storytelling.
