Teen Titans #3
This third volume of the 2005 Teen Titans series collects issues #13-19 and the Teen Titans/Legion of Super-Heroes Special #1. The story focuses on Garfield Logan, aka Beast Boy, as he confronts a mysterious illness spreading among the team's younger members, leading to a conflict with the villainous Brother Blood and a crossover with the Legion of Super-Heroes. Geoff Johns continues his run as writer, with art by Mike McKone and others.
In "Nobody's Hero," Beast Boy finds himself wrongly accused of murder after being taken into custody for the killing of Magilla. With Nightwing en route to Los Angeles to intervene, Beast Boy escapes his cell only to encounter a chilling doppelgänger who leads him on a dangerous chase—culminating in the abduction of his former co-star, Vicky Valiant. As the mystery deepens, Beast Boy confronts a pair of strange figures at Matt's apartment before being recaptured, setting off a tense showdown with Nightwing when he arrives demanding answers. Written by Ben Raab and Geoff Johns, with art by Justiniano and inks by Chris Ivy, this gripping issue features a striking cover by Ed McGuinness and Dexter Vines.
