Spider-Man decides he is fighting on the wrong side of the Civil War and crosses Iron Man. The New Thunderbolts are sent to bring him in, and he is beaten badly but is rescued by the Punisher. Cap decides to use the Punisher to invade the Baxter Building and steal the plans for Number 42 in the Negative Zone, where all of the captured heroes are being held. Daredevil is captured and taken to the prison.
