This volume collects the third story arc of the 2016 Superman/Batman series, featuring the World's Finest duo as they face a threat that challenges their partnership and the fabric of reality itself. Written by Greg Pak with art by Jae Lee and others, it continues the modern take on the iconic team-up dynamic between the Man of Steel and the Dark Knight.
In "Stop Me If You've Heard This One...", Superman and Batman—still wary allies—accidentally cross paths on a Bahamas-bound cruise under civilian identities, unaware that assassin Slade Wilson is tracking Bruce Wayne. When a mysterious spatial rift pulls in the Crime Syndicate and an unknown protector intent on defending Wayne, the two heroes must work together to send the interdimensional intruders back, leaving behind more questions than answers. Written by Joe Kelly and illustrated by Ed McGuinness, Ryan Ottley, Sean Murphy, and Carlo Barberi, with inks by Dexter Vines, Cliff Rathburn, and others, and colored by Guy Major, this 2016 DC crossover features a cover by Ethan Van Sciver.
