Writer Marc Bernardin and penciller Georges Jeanty — with inks by Dexter Vines and colors by Andrew Dalhouse — produced all four issues of this miniseries, giving it a consistent creative voice from first page to last. The series grew out of editorial interest in exploring Windu's 'younger years' before the Clone Wars, a period StarWars.com described as largely uncharted territory at the time of the book's launch. Issue #3, published April 17, 2024, was the penultimate chapter of the four-issue run; Bernardin himself visited his local comics shop on release day to sign copies, posting about the issue on social media, which speaks to the creative team's evident enthusiasm for the project. The main cover was by Mateus Manhanini, who handled regular covers for the entire run, while Dave Wachter and Giuseppe Camuncoli supplied variant covers for this issue.
