“When Clark Met Bruce”

In "When Clark Met Bruce," Superman and Batman are thrust together when Metallo wreaks havoc at S.T.A.R. Labs and flees to Gotham, where the two heroes clash in a tense confrontation at a graveyard. As Superman is incapacitated by a Kryptonite bullet, Batman makes a desperate move that traps them both in a grave—just as a massive Kryptonian asteroid looms over Earth. Written by Jeph Loeb and illustrated by Ed McGuinness, with inks by Dexter Vines, colors by Dave Stewart, and letters by Richard Starkings, this pivotal issue features a cover by Michael Turner that captures the moment of collision between two icons.
