Deadpool: Wade Wilson's War #4

Nov 2010 · Marvel · 3.99 USD
“This Time, It's Personal”

In "This Time, It's Personal," Deadpool spins a wild tale where Domino testifies before the Senate, exposing Team X as delusional experiments pretending to be heroes—only for Deadpool and Domino to reveal themselves as super-powered assassins on a deadly mission. Written by Duane Swierczynski and illustrated by Jason Pearson, with inks by Dexter Vines and colors by Paul Mounts, this 2010 issue blends satire and chaos, all framed as a story born from Deadpool’s fractured mind. The cover by Jason Pearson captures the moment the truth unravels.

Domino appears before the senate and tells them the story Deadpool has fed them is a complete lie. Team X is made up of, not super powered agents, but delusional medical experiments gone wrong who decided to try and play hero. When eveyone's guard is down, Deadpool and Domino flip the script again by proving they are, in fact, super powered agents who have been tasked with killing a bunch of difficult senators. Bullets fly and public servants die as Deadpool and Domino complete their mission and escape. BUT the whole thing turns out to be a comic story Deadpool has created from the loony bin.
