“Me and You and a Dog Named Pool”

In "Me and You and a Dog Named Pool," Deadpool faces a high-stakes Senate hearing over a classified mission gone wrong, where he's accused of war crimes after surveillance footage appears to show him and Domino slaughtering innocent bystanders in Mexico. With the truth on the line and his reputation in tatters, Domino is called to testify—just as the real story begins to unravel. Written by Duane Swierczynski and illustrated by Jason Pearson, with cover art by Pearson, this 2010 Marvel issue delivers sharp dialogue and tense drama in a story that challenges what it means to be a hero.

Deadpool finally testifies before the senate about the mission where Team X took down a drug cartel and ended up killing hundreds of criminals in Mexico. Unfortunately, the senate shows a piece of surveillance footage that looks an awful lot like Deadpool and Domino killing innocent bystanders with reckless abandon. As Deadpool strenuously objects, Domino is brought in to give her side of the story.
