Chris Samnee is an American comic book artist whose precise, expressive linework has made him one of the most distinctive visual voices in mainstream superhero comics over the past two decades. Active in the industry since 1997, Samnee has accumulated credits as artist, inker, letterer, and writer across more than two hundred issues, with his most sustained and celebrated work appearing on titles such as Daredevil, Black Widow, and Captain America.

His early promise was recognized with a 2006 nomination for the Russ Manning Most Promising Newcomer Award, and he eventually claimed the 2011 Harvey Award for Most Promising Newcomer for his contributions to Thor: The Mighty Avenger. His reputation only deepened from there — in 2013 he earned an Eisner Award for Best Penciller/Inker, honored for his work on both The Rocketeer: Cargo of Doom and Daredevil.
