Chris Samnee's cover for Fire Power #10 sets a striking, somber mood: a muscular figure kneels in defeat or exhaustion at the center of a smoldering, flame-licked ground, while a darkly silhouetted sword-wielding figure looms ominously in the upper background. Matt Wilson's color work bathes the scene in deep oranges and charcoals, making the creeping fire feel almost alive around the crouching hero. Robert Kirkman and Samnee's 2021 series continues to deliver this kind of charged, martial-arts-infused drama — and this issue looks like a genuine low point for our protagonist, in all the best ways.
