Chris Samnee's vertigo-inducing cover for Fire Power #29 drops us into a breathtaking overhead perspective — a lone figure suspended at the bottom of a vast, crumbling shaft, surrounded by shattered stone and darkness pressing in from every side. The tiny, isolated silhouette against that eerie spotlight of pale light makes the scale feel genuinely overwhelming, and Matt Wilson's muted, moody palette gives the whole image a sense of precarious, held-breath tension. Robert Kirkman's series continues to find fresh ways to make you feel the weight of its world, and this November 2023 issue is a striking example of that.
