Part of Marvel's 2018 Legacy initiative and the "Out of Time" arc, this penultimate chapter before the milestone #700 finds Captain America squarely in the middle of two of Marvel's most formidable bruisers — a raging Hulk looming behind him and a ready-to-rumble Thing squaring off in front, with a ruined cityscape stretching out below. The cover even winks at the reader with its own playful disclaimer about the Hulk vs. Thing matchup, giving the whole thing a self-aware charm that balances the raw physicality on display. Chris Samnee's linework, colored by Matthew Wilson, packs an enormous amount of tension into the scene — Cap looks outnumbered but not outmatched, which is pretty much his whole deal.
