Daredevil #14

Chris Samnee's cover for this 2015 issue renders Daredevil in a striking, almost dreamlike composition — the Man Without Fear curled and suspended within a glowing oval of light, surrounded by a web of tangled cables or tendrils against a deep, monochromatic blue. The image has an eerie, otherworldly stillness to it, suggesting vulnerability and isolation in equal measure. Mark Waid, Samnee, and colorist Matthew Wilson are clearly firing on all cylinders here, and this cover alone makes a compelling case to pick up the issue.
