Batman Beyond #35

The mentor-protégé relationship at the heart of Batman Beyond reaches a dramatic breaking point on Chris Samnee's striking cover, where Terry McGinnis — suited up in the sleek black-and-red Batman Beyond costume — strides away defiantly, declaring "I'm done playing by your rules, old man!" while an aging Bruce Wayne, cane in hand, calls after him from the steps of what appears to be the Batcave. Dan Jurgens continues his run on "Divide, Conquer and Kill Part Five," and this image of two generations of Batman pulling apart crackles with tension.
