Robert Kirkman and Chris Samnee's Fire Power hits its third issue with a cover that says everything without showing everything — a battered, bare-chested figure hunches forward against a blazing red backdrop, blood speckling his face and his arm raised in what reads as either exhaustion or grim resolve. Samnee's linework is lean and confident, and Matthew Wilson's warm red-and-gold palette gives the whole image a smoldering intensity that feels perfectly suited to the series' martial-arts-meets-superhero tone.
