Keith Pollard was born on January 20, 1950, in the Detroit area, and went on to become one of Marvel Comics' most dependable and versatile artists of the late 1970s and early 1980s. He is perhaps best remembered for the remarkable feat of contributing simultaneously to three of Marvel's flagship titles — *The Amazing Spider-Man*, *Fantastic Four*, and *Thor* — a workload that spoke both to his reliability and his range across very different visual demands.

Pollard's career in comics spans more than five decades, with catalog credits as artist, inker, and writer across some 449 issues from 1974 onward. His output extended well beyond the American market, with his work appearing in international editions including the German *Die Spinne*, the Greek *Σπάιντερ Μαν*, and Spanish-language editions of Spider-Man published across multiple territories.

His clean, classically structured storytelling fit comfortably within Marvel's house aesthetic of the period while still carrying a confident sense of figure work and page design. *Fantastic Four* and *Thor* remained among his most prominent assignments, giving him extended runs with some of the publisher's most architecturally demanding concepts — cosmic adventure and mythological spectacle among them.

Pollard's sustained presence in the industry across multiple generations of comics production reflects a steady professional commitment that outlasted many of his contemporaries.
