While on a mission underground Deathlok runs into Godwulf. He transports Deathlok away, which results in the cybernetic unit that the CIA has been monitoring as showing that Deathlok is dead. Since Luther Manning III thinks that Deathlok is dead he stops the Deathlok transcripts and Teresa Devereaux shuts down the CIA operation.
