The Spectacular Spider-Man #25
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeDecember 1978 brings a vault-raiding showdown in Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man #25, and the cover — penciled by Keith Pollard and inked by Bruce Patterson — throws you right into the chaos: Spider-Man swings in firing a web-beam while cash and coins scatter everywhere, the caped Masked Marauder looms menacingly to the left, and the pale, grimacing Tri-Man crouches in the foreground amid the monetary wreckage. The cover copy promises "A Vault Full of Fear," and with two villains cornered against a wall of flying money, that tension is hard to argue with. Inside, Bill Mantlo scripts and Jim Mooney pencils the tale titled "Carrion, My Wayward Son!" — a great reason to dig into this slice of late-'70s Spidey action.
