In "Blauäugig und unerbittlich," the Thing is dragged unwillingly into a nightmarish alternate dimension by Dr. Strange, who’s been captured by the sorcerer Xandu. Trapped in a realm of tormenting demons, the Thing fights to free his ally while Xandu steals the Eye of Agamotto and vanishes into the shadows. When they return to their world and Strange’s sanctum, they’re met with a chilling revelation: the Hulk has fallen under Xandu’s mind control.
