Lethal Foes of Spider-Man #3
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe cover of this November 1993 Marvel limited series says it all with a single speech bubble — "Uh oh." — as Spider-Man's enormous red-and-black eyes frame a crowd of snarling, clashing villains reflected within them, including a fanged reptilian creature, a growling bat-winged figure, and a mass of other dangerous foes surging forward. Cover pencils by David Boller and inks by Brad Vancata deliver a cleverly composed image that turns Spidey's own mask into a window onto the chaos threatening to overwhelm him in "Power Struggle." Four issues was never enough room for this many lethal foes, and issue three makes that abundantly clear.
