In "Mäktig, mäktigare, mäktigast!", Spindelmannen teams up with Miss Marvel to stop the alien villain Super-Skrull, who’s hunting a crystal capable of enabling hyperspace travel. The hunt leads them to a ship at sea, where they uncover that Super-Skrull’s powers come from a massive energy beam from space—and they’ll use both the crystal and the beam to send him away from Earth. Written by Chris Claremont and Janne Eriksson, with art by John Byrne and inks by Dave Hunt, this 1988 issue features a striking cover by Keith Pollard.
