He is best known for his lush, photorealistic painted covers and fantasy pin-up work, which brought a fine-art sensibility to comic book illustration. Jusko entered the industry in the early 1980s, contributing to titles like *The Savage Sword of Conan* and *Black Panther*, where his detailed, muscular figures and atmospheric use of color became his signature.
