In "Behind the Walls of Night," Conan joins a band of mercenaries hired by nobleman Tollius to reclaim his family’s lost legacy from the cursed, sealed village of Harrikar. In "The Wheel," Conan endures the brutal grind of a labor wheel before escaping alongside Gath, a young man driven by a bitter past—his fiancée Frikka was taken on their wedding day by the nobleman Thoyaga. Gath convinces Conan to help him infiltrate Thoyaga’s castle, claiming it holds a hidden fortune, but the truth of Frikka’s contentment within its walls complicates their mission.
