In "Skygger i Zamboula," Conan, wounded and hunted, narrowly escapes a cannibal tribe only to find himself drawn into a perilous quest when he rescues Zabibi, a woman with a mysterious past. Together, they journey through treacherous lands, seeking the fabled Star of Khorala—a ring said to hold ancient power—before darker forces can claim it.

In "Okseguden Anu," Conan joins forces with Burgun in a daring act of thievery, only to see his partner betrayed and hanged. Driven by vengeance, Conan tracks down the killers—Aron and a priest—before a mysterious woman, Jenna, departs his side for another. As the Red Bull is freed, the stars themselves seem to shift in response to the storm of blood and fate.
