While Wolverine is battling (and finally killing) Matsuo, Hercules takes on the Kraken. The duo then take on an entire army of undead Greeks and triumph with a little assistance from Herc's uncle, Pluto. Wolverine and Hercules vow to be friends forever (literally). Not realizing that he wants to remain dead, the Hand resurrects Matsuo.
