Dr. Strange mystically sends Rom to an area of Wraith infestation in Russia. Rom meets a jubilant group of dancing people who welcome him with open arms. They explain that they were victims of nuclear fallout until a mysterious stranger gave them new bodies and a new life. Rom enters a cave where he meets Quasimodo who tells him that he can make a clone of his human body and transfer his consciousness therein. Rom accepts the offer, little knowing that Quasimodo is working with a coven of Wraiths. Rom is thrilled when he awakens as a man once again.
