Hulk #27

This oversized Marvel Magazine Group title goes out with a bang in its June 1981 swan song — the cover by Joe Jusko delivers a visceral nighttime scene of the Hulk heaving a full-sized red car overhead outside a glittering casino strip, debris flying as bystanders scramble to safety. A smaller inset of the Green Goliath rages in the upper corner, doubling down on the raw power on display. Rounding out the issue, Gene Colan pencils the interior story "Feudin'," inked by Dave Simons — a creative team that brings real weight to the Jade Giant's world right up to the final page.
